The RIOS1931 Saddler’s Seam

Unlike machine stitching, the hand or saddler’s seam uses a single thread that is pulled by hand with two needles alternately from one side to the other. This creates a particularly even stitch pattern. A saddler’s seam gives a watch strap a longer service life than machine stitching. One thread, two needles, around 40 minutes per strap with a saddler’s seam.
